I'm just trying to build a case here that raising the minimum wage doesn't help anybody but Union officials, who have their union contracts tied to the minimum wage. 

I'm sure it helps a lot of government workers in charge of welfare who can now skim more off the top since they'll now have to give out more checks to the poor that won't find jobs.
