5 songs don't make a classic album

if i edited alot of albums to 5 tracks and a few skits and an instrumental i'd have a classic too

4 outta 5 mics

Yo.....who would have guessed the impact that this release would have on this art form (hip-hop)

This Cd has to be a classic just for it's magnitude...and it's impact...and that tight Eazy-E callabo....It made us all say daam Ruthless is Back....(remember that)

Bizzy Bone is one of my top 5 favorite artists that do this...and Bone was setting us up for what turned out to be the tightest (non Cali-NY) lp ever....E.1999
                    T
                     E
                      R
                       N
                        A
                         L
Creepin' get's my nod...as a classic

Actually they have sold over 30 million records.

As said by Layzie bone in the track "Thug Muzik plays on"

and yeh over the past couple of years i've started to think they don't want fame. Half the solo's released are not main stream material.

It doesnt matter if the midwest artists blew up or not. The bottomline is, Bone put the region on the map, and they ARE the pioneers of a particular sound of hip hop. As for their sales, Layzie says they have sold 30 million but im not fully sure. I KNOW they've sold at least 24 million, probably more. But no one is gonna catch Pac, cuz he is just putting out too many albums. I aint mad though, cuz Pac is my fav MC.

Actually Technicaly Bone has outsold 2pac.

He's got many double CD albums which count as double sales. I.E if all Eyes on Me is listed as 10x plat. Then its really sold 5 x plat but its counted twice due to there being double cds.

Bone only have 2 double cds AoW and Thug Mentality.

Laterz.

If ya'll are saying it's a classic, I can take any album and make it a classic by editing it. Just look:

Xzibit - "The Restless EP"

1.Intro
2.W-Ballz Skit
3.Sorry I'm Away So Much
4.X
5.Don't Approach Me
6.You Know
7.Get Your Walk On
8.Walk Some More (Get Your Walk On Insturmental)

So if "Creepin On a Come Up" was a classic, than a shorter version with only the dope songs of every album ever out is a classic, just because it has 5 classic tracks, right? Wrong! There's no way a CD can only have 5 tracks and be a classic, cuz I can edit any album in the world into being a fuckin classic....

^^^^No no no. It dont work that way. Cuz if you edit the album, that AINT the OFFICIAL album. Thats just some home made mixed album. The official, in-stores release counts only. And Creepin is a classic, just for its impact and influence alone. Its pretty much been decided by general consensus.

wtf !! bone ain't outsell or close to outsell pac!!!

faces-double plywood
creepin'-4xplat
e. 1999-6x
art or war-2.5 (double album)
resurection-1 x

that only adds up to 13.5 million

or you can do the overexagerated numbers

creepin-5x
e. 1999-10x
art of war 5
res-1

that's still 21 mil, and that's waaaaaaay higher than what they've actually have sold and if they did sell that much that's only in the u.s.a, pac's sold 35 million in the us. and probably 45 world wide....

Pac has sold more but Bone is the best selling group of all time...That's pretty impressive since they haven't had that many albums...Not counting the solo releases...

I don't really see the point in arguing about Bone sales. Layzie says they have sold 30 million + on "Thug Muzik plays on" and on his solo album he says it on "My Niggaz".

Why dispute it when its been said. If anyone knows how much Bone has sold its BONE THEMSELVES.

All it means is they have included the solo's and possibly the 3 Mo thug albums in that statement. BUT... if Layzie is talking about the group albums then all i can say is. GOSH :o  :D :o
