im writting a paper on the differences on movies like the godfather and scarface compared to movies like boyz n tha hood and colors and so forth anybody got any ideas?......thanks i appreciate it

godfather and scarface are more about organized crime families...colors and boyz n tha hood is about random l.a. street gangs...thats off the top of my head if that helps any

You should  basically talk about the different sets/actors and the way they play and potray there roles/different types of violence that go's down/Relationships with friends/family.

LIke the sets in Boys in the hood is very street and the film sucks you in and try to teach you in the shortest time possible about what it is like growing up in LA.  The actos play there roles very well in the way that the charachters are all very different and behave differently.  The violence that is in the film is basically not organised and it is street gangs against other street gangs and 1 simple wrong look or wrong move and somebody can end up killed.  

Just write stuff like above but go into alot of detail.  Hope I have helped buddy.
