Name any subject and I bet you Cube has a song about it.

Oh come on... no one had an artistically range like 2pac. Cube could've never made Keep Ya Head Up, Dear Mama, How Do U Want It++

IT WAS A GOOD DAY , TRUE TO THE GAME , COLOR BLIND , PUSH RHYMES LIKE WEIGHT !!!!!

all great, classic tracks...but not the same kind of songs as the ones I was referring to.

The only subject matter where you could say Pac touched that Cube didnt was music for the ladies. But other than that, you'd be crazy if you dont think Cube cant compare to Pac. When you wanna talk about tracks with social commentary, Pac aint seein Cube, and thats reaal talk I can name several tracks off Death Certificate that could end this debate.

I love Cube, but you made me do it. 'Pac kills all rappers with this song. Cube can't touch this.

Artist: Makaveli (2Pac) f/ Prince Ital
Album:  The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory
Song:   Blasphemy

*music from To Live & Die in L.A. fades*

[This Week in Bible Prophecy]
God has a plan -- and the bible unfolds that wonderful plan
through the message of prophecy
God sent Jesus into this world to be our saviour
And that Christ is returning, someday soon
to unfold the wonderful plan of eternity, for my life and your life
As long as we're cooperating with God
by accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and saviour
And as the Lord does return in the coming seven days
We'll see you next time here on This Week in Bible Prophecy

[Tupac]
Tupac don't start that blasphemy in here!
Makaveli, the new breed -- and I remember what my pops told me
The new word, follow me -- remember what my pops told me

My family tree, consists of drug dealers, thugs and killers
Strugglin, known to hustle screamin fuck they feelings
I got advice from my father, all he told me was this
Niggaz, get off your ass if you plan to be rich
There's ten rules to the game, but I'll share with you two
Know, niggaz gon' hate you for whatever you do
Now rule one -- get your cash on, M.O.B.
That's Money Over Bitches, cause they breed envy
Now rule two is a hard one, watch for phonies
Keep yo', enemies close nigga, watch yo' homies
It seemed a little unimportant, when he told me I smiled
Picture jewels being handed, to an innocent child
I never knew in my lifetime I'd live by these rules
Initiated as an outlaw, studying rules
Now papa ain't around, so I gotta recall
or come to grips with bein on my enemy's wall (rest in peace)
Promised if I have a seed, I'ma guide him right
Dear Lord don't let me die tonite
I got words for my comrades, listen and learn
Ain't nuttin free, give back what you earn, no doubt
Gettin higher than a motherfucker, blessed and pleased
This Thug Life'll be the death of me, c'mon, yeah

And I remember what my papa told me
Remember what my papa told me, blasphemy

Chorus: Prince Ital

Love for dem dat steal in the name of da Lord
Dem a tell nuff lie but holdin my bird in a cloud
Usin de name of de Lord in vein
While de people in de ghetto, feel nuff pain

[Tupac]
We probably in Hell already, our dumb asses not knowin
Everybody kissin ass to go to heaven ain't goin
Put my soul on it, I'm fightin devil niggaz daily
Plus the media be crucifying brothers severly
Tell me I ain't God's son, nigga mom a virgin
We got addicted had to leave the burbs, back in the ghetto
doin wild shit, lookin at the sun don't pay
Criminal mind all the time, wait for Judgment Day
They say Moses split the Red Sea
I split the blunt and rolled the fat one, I'm deadly -- Babylon beware
Comin from the Pharoahe's kids, retaliation
Makin legends off the shit we did, still bullshittin
Niggaz in Jerusalem, waitin for signs
God promised, she's just takin her time, haha
Living by the Nile while the water flows
I'm contemplating plots wondering which door to go
Brothas getting shot, comin back resurrected
It's just that raw shit, nigga check it (that raw shit)

And I remember what my papa told me
Remember what my papa told me, blasphemy

Chorus

[Tupac]
The preacher want me buried why?  Cause I know he a liar
Have you ever seen a crackhead, that's eternal fire
Why you got these kids minds, thinkin that they evil
while the preacher bein richer you say honor God's people
Should we cry, when the Pope die, my request
We should cry if they cried when we buried Malcolm X
Mama tell me am I wrong, is God just another cop
waitin to beat my ass if I don't go pop?
Memories of a past time, givin up cash
to the leaders, knowin damn well, it ain't gonna feed us
In my brain how can you explain, time in D.C.
It's hard enough to live now, in these times of greed
They say Jesus is a kind man, well he should understand
times in this crime man, my Thug nation
Do whatchu gotta do but know you gotta change
Try to find a way to make it out the game
I leave this and hope God can see my heart is pure
Is heaven just another door?  I leave this here
I leave this and hope God see my heart is pure
Is heaven just another door?  And my people say

Chorus 4X

Our father, who art in heaven
   Hallow be thy name
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
In earth, as it is in heaven
Give us this day, our daily bread
As we give up our debts
   As we forgive our debt-ors
   Lead us not into temptation
   but deliver us, unevil
For God, is the kingdom, and the power
and the glory forever, and ever, and ever

Blasphemy is a great track, I always felt its lyrically Pacs best and is the best track on 7 Day. But it doesnt have near the social commentary that tracks like "I wanna kill Sam" or "Us" have...Blasphemy has much less subject matter, listen to the words, listen to the message. If you're objective you'll know what I mean.

Cube touched on topics people could relate to, he was a narrator on life in the ghetto, the gangbanging, being recruited to the army...Pac was delivering more of a message that was from his perspective. There's a big difference. Cube is the king of social commentary.

This is not far fetched. But no one would ever be able to truely prove it. Pac fans are way too into him to admit any fault. I can honestly say that Pac didn't influence rappers like Cube did, when he was alive. Pac became much more popular once he died. Cube's influence started when Straight Outta Compton dropped. Cube influenced all of a Pac's swag. From "Hardcore" Gangsta to Socially Conscious Emcee, Cube did that.

Cube is a great writer, period. He's fell off now, but let's compare 5 years of their career.

Straight Outta Compton (88), AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted (90), Kill At Will (90), Death Certificate (91), Predator (92), Lethal Injection (93)

2Pacalypse Now (91), Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. (93), Thug Life (94), Me Against The World (95), All Eyez On Me (96), Makaveli (96)

No doubt in my mind Cube's records were much more solid. He has some duds in his catalog now (Terrorist Threats, War & Peace), but that's inevitable after 20 years in the game. Throw in Bow Down and Bootlegs and B-Sides just as icing on the cake. If Cube would've died after Bow Down he would've been looked at just like Pac, I honestly believe that. Since Pac died, it's cool to be a Pac fan. It's cool to be influenced by Pac. It's never been cool to be influenced by Cube, but guess what? Everyone from Pac to Bishop Lamont were influenced by Cube.

Cube >>>>>> Pac

Pac couldn't do social commentary like Ice Cube, but he definately could do tracks in that "genre". While Cube could never do songs in the genre of Dear Mama and Keep Ya Head Up. And I never said Cube can't compare with 2pac, you fucking moron. I actually prefer Ice Cube over 2pac (both are personal favourites of mine), I just pointed out that subject matter is not one of the things that puts Cube over 2pac, because muscial diversity was, if not the, at least one of the things that made 2pac into the legend he is.

LOL  @ those lyircs being posted like that's supposed to mean something

Fresh out of school cause I was a high school grad
gots to get a job cuz I was a high school dad
Wish I got paid like I was rappin' to the nation
but thats not likely, so here's my application
Pass it to the man at AT&T
Cuz when I was in school I got the a. e. e.
But there's no s. e. for this youngsta
I didn't have no money so now I have to hunch the
Back like a slave, thats what be happenin
but whitey says there's no room for the African
Always knew that I would boycott, jeez
but welcome to McDonalds can I take your order please
Gotta sell ya food that might give you cancer
cuz my baby doesn't take no for an answer
Now I pay taxes that you never give me back
what about diapers, bottles, and similac
Do I gotta go sell me a whole lotta crack
for decent shelter and clothes on my back?
Or should I just wait for help from Bush
or Jesse Jackson, and operation Push
If you ask me the whole thing needs a douch
a masengel what the hell cracker sale in the neighborhood
To the whorehouse bitches,
Miss porker, little joe or Todd Bridges
Or anybody that he know
so I got me a bird, better known as a kilo
Now everybody know I went from po' to a nigga that got dough
So now you put the feds against me
cause I couldn't follow the plan of the presidency
I'm never givin' love again
Cuz blacks are too fuckin broke to be republican
Now I remember I used to be cool
till I stopped fillin' out my W-2
Now senators are gettin' hired
and your plan against the ghetto backfired
So now you got a pep talk
but sorry, this is our only room to walk
Cause we don't want a drug push
But a bird in the hand is worth more than the bush

that song alone outshines pacs career
Guess who back in the motherfuckin house
With a fat dick for your motherfuckin mouth
Hoes recognize, niggaz do too
Cuz when bitches get skanless and pull a voodoo.....
