when it dropped I thought it was classic but in retrospect its because I hadnt really heard anything else last year that I liked...now that I go back and bump it I think I over rated it...one classic track from games first album that always gets omited is dreams with kanye on the track that was easily the best track on the album...that and higher.

i think documentary can be considered a national classic.

But i think DA is more of a westcoast classic.  Like those warren g albums or those dj quick albums,

where everybody says their dope, but mostly the west considers them classic.

i said this album was a classic as soon as it came out and i still feel the same way about it i think it's waaaaaay better than the DOC because it's more consistent throughout better songs although the DOC had more touching songs and my fav song from him "RUNNIN"

No way. I actually thought it was a solid 4/5 album...but we need to stop throwin out the word classic for any album we personally like.

no and nor was the Documentary. You guys have way too loose criteria when it comes to judging a classic.

exactly people use the term classic way too much, it seems to be used if people like a couple of songs on the album.

To me a classic album is something u can listen to front to back without skipping and have done hundreds of time.

Doctors Advocate aint a classic and nor is documentary but documentary is better than doctors advocate.
