Problem Speaks On His New Major Label Deal! - February 22, 2008 By : Eddie

If you can think back to 2006 when we dropped Problem's acclaimed mixtape "Deal Or No Deal", you'll know that the talented Compton MC has been grinding hard for some time to find the right label situation.

After sifting through countless offers to find the right home for his music, Problem signed his major label deal with Universal Republic, a division of Universal Records, yesterday! The entire Dubcnn staff would like to extend our congratulations to him. We caught up with Problem earlier today for a few words about his new deal, and here's what he had to say.

"Y'all can expect giant things from Problem and Derang Entertainment! We 'bout to take over this motherf*cker bra! They done gave the wrong n*gga some money this time! *Laughs* Nah, but on the real, I'm just excited man. I finally get a shot to show the world what I can do, so I'm ready to take full advantage of that. Thanks goes to all the Problem supporters and the Problem haters. Believe me, I'm nothin' without y'all!"

Check out Problem on Myspace for some new music, and send him a comment to congratulate him on the deal! Problem has also been involved in Snoop Dogg's "Ego Trippin'" album, which hits stores on March 11th.

he's one of the ones i said that could get a deal,he got that style that fits in well with the market now,plus he got skills,i expect to see bang get a good deal next,its different type of artist on the west who are all doing ill thangs, much respect problem,and get them chipper jones my equal yell
