I don't think he's an above average lyricist but he's definitely got a powerful voice/style. I'm still a fan.

^^^^ Dre was busy and likes to work with new artists who never release an album ...

lol hopefully they break that trend wit bishop . but who ever is calling those albums horribles (ecept full circle) Xzibit is a fucking legend, that being said. he does not have that hunger anymore. thats all

Full Circle is the only album there i didnt like, cant knock xzibit...

At the speed of life - classic
40 dayz 40 nightz - classic
restless - classic
man vs machine - very good
wmd - good

i agree..except on full circle...its not that i didnt like it, its just not up to par with what we have come to expect from X...

still tho Full Circle > half of the shit thats considered "hot".

X's three latest have been huge letdowns IMO. "Man VS Machine" and "Weapons of Mass Destruction" had some good tracks on them, but as albums they didn't work and both had songs that annoyed me. Full Circle didn't interest me at all, since it was evident that he hadn't delivered a better product than his previous two.

BUT - if he had the right people working with him, taking the project to the right direction - I'm sure he still could deliver a dope album.

how the fuck is "Man vs Machine" horrible?

he still had the lyrics and there were some classic cuts on that

yep. Besides that, Xzibit is still a good mc. Bring him a good beat and he destroys it.

that's what I'm sayin'- it's the same with Snoop

His first 3 records are DOPE!
At the Speed of Life and 40 Dayz and 40 Nightz are (modern) classics to me, Restless is just more mainstream

Man Vs. Machine --> had a lot of great tracks but whoever was the executive producer fucked up, because there were some tracks that were completley out of place
WOMD ---> great album, production from Sir Jinx, Jelly Roll, Rick Rock, DJ Khalil, Battlecat, Timbaland & Danja, Denuan Porter, J.R., Hi-Tek... you can't go wrong with that lineup. Only missed a track or two from Dre.
Full Circle --> the cheap production fucked up the album, Xzibit came correct as always though

Xzibit is still one of the best on the Westcoast and I'm still anticipating new album from him like crazy.

MVM is underrated and had some real nice tracks.  It's not touching 40/40, ASOL or Restless but it's not a bad album.  WOMD was decent and I haven't heard Full Circle yet.

When XZIBIT made - Squeeze me , Choke me , Spank me ,  that did it for me , after restless people thought he was gonna come bacc hard again , but put out a Wack album Man VS machine that album was on some bacc to the future , space shit , it wasnt tight !!  Full circle had a few bangers , WOMB was his best album out of those three albums .  8) 8)

I agree. If sum of his latest shit hasnt been at the level of lets say At the Speed of Life it doesnt mean that all hope is now lost.
