nope. if mavs lose against hornets on wednesday, nuggets get the 7th seed. they have the tiebreaker over the mavs.

based off our record against them this year, i wouldnt either. but i think the mavs will be a much bigger challenge for the hornets than the nuggets would be. itd be nice to see our competition wear each other out before we get to them

i really don't mind facing the mavs either this year. i don't think they have a chance against anyone in the frist round. that kidd trade really limited their options and with drik hurt still it really puts a lot on his shoulder offensively. Gasol manning up on him is going to wear him out in a series and odom's clean up efforts will hurt the mavs as well.  as far as the nuggets go. they're too erratic to be considered a threat. if they have any chance they're going to need to score 135 points a game. that's the only way i see them getting past the first round.
