"Big Poppa" was a great song, with a west coast inspired beat, the producers of that song were obviously greatly influenced by Dr. Dre at the time. I doubt it is the best east coast song ever, though. Biggie was undoubtedly a very gifted rapper, but considerably sharper lyricists has always existed on the East Coast, like Method Man and Jay-Z, for example. Still I respect your opinions.

Peace

That's true, I can't believe "Big Poppa" got so many votes.
"Unbelievable", "The What", "Warning"...all better than "Big  Poppa" in my mind.  And I think that "Who Shot Ya?" was the B-Side to that single, and that song is better.

Euthanasia, I don't know if you did it by mistake but "They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)" is on your list twice, one with 4 votes and one with 2 votes.

Whoops, I didn't realise the ones that put it down as T.R.O.Y. were abreviating it until you just said, lol. Thanks for looking out.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

Yeah if he was alive now he would be, but Biggie wasn't better at the time... you heard Jigga's debut "Reasonable Doubt" ?

I feel like tha word "much" is a slight exaduration, i mean, i feel ya that overrall biggie was a better rapper, but still you can't dismiss jigga like that compared to BIG mainlly for the reason their styles r\were completelly differend...BIG was that typa rapper to paint a picture, to put you into his story, Jigga on the other hand can also paint shit, may be not as graphiclly as BIG did(i don't believe anyone to this day can..when it comes to this biggie really topz anyone who comes into mind without a doubt) but Jigga has\had a better way wit words in general, if we'z talking bout vocabularry, or bout effortless use of amazinglly sharp and "on point" metaphores and smilies without leanin away (not even by a bit) from the focus of the track...still , BIG was a no doubt amazing lyricist, and an amazing rapper and overall i think he topz JiGGA, mainly thanx to his verbal-graphical skillz which no one could challange...but tha word "much" is rather inapropriate IMO.

i have it an ready 2 die is on a different level.  ofcourse u will come back an say im a jigga hater even tho i think reasonable doubt is a great album.  look at back in tha day,  big was tha undisputed king of ny an no1 argued that yet wit jay-z it was always argued is he good enough to be king of NY.  Plus ready 2 die,  no argues that,  that album is a classic.  On tha other hand a lot of people even jigga fans say reasonable doubt is not quite a classic

"Reasonable Doubt" is equally good as "Ready 2 Die" IMO. Both are classics. Did I call you a Jigga hater ?
