Agent Says Rockets Player May Opt For Overseas

HOUSTON -- The agent for restricted free agent forward Carl Landry says his client may entertain offers to play overseas.

"Carl would entertain all serious offers," Landry's agent, Buddy Baker, told Houston television station KRIV-TV on Wednesday. "There is serious interest in Carl by both other NBA teams and internationally."

Landry was a rookie for the Houston Rockets last season and averaged 8.1 points and 4.9 rebounds a game.

^^ but the nba is too diluted of talet ayways. half of nba players now wouldnt of made the grade back when they were 20 or so teams. outside of the great to good players theres thousands of average players around the world.

^ I'm not surprised at all. Euroleague is better than ever, man. And the 4 top-teams in Europe can easly beat let's say at least 8-10 NBA teams in a playoff serie. Probably more.

His agent was shooting off his mouth. He back tracked yesterday by saying he hasn't received an offer from any Euro teams.

Landry and his agent are pissed that the Rockets want to really examine Landry's knee before offering him a deal.
