What are some songs that were singles on radio or TV that the West Coast had, that have been forgotten about, and may only be remembered by older cats who have a good memory?

i was bangin some of these too.. but  "i shot the sheriff" is dope, with lady levi on the intro , just a funny/good west coast (cover) "version" of the greatest songs ever created.
