Like some others I dont give a fuck what DOC is like as a person and so id like to hear him with EITHER voice! Fuck who he's wronged and shit like that but lets hope hes still got that touch and brings us something phenomenal to listen to again! 8)
yeah i do have problems with DOC as a person, but i can still listen to DOC the rapper  :)
the voice is not a problem for me either

Props to DOC.  I always wondered if he was ever going to attempt to have the surgery done, but better late than never.  It would have been sick if could have laid down some vocals on "Detox," but I'll be excited just to hear him period.

DOC had all the tools . .the golden voice, lyrics, flow, storytelling. . in terms of raw talent he is top 5 all time. If he didn't lose his voice he would have had been one of the most successful rappers ever. Hes also a really funny guy.  i think he could have crossed over like Cube did and made comedy movies. If this news is true .. and he is able to recover his golden voice,  this could be huge for old school westcoast fans.
Imagine if after Cube left NWA he went to jail for 20 years. . and just got released and planned on making a new album..there would be a lot of buzz from old school fans. This could be a similar situation. And if all goes well and he gets his voice back. . im sure Dre would produce a few songs for him .. and i dont think anyone in hip hop history had better chemistry than the Doc and the Doctor.

Alot of lucky rapper's D.O.C. had to wait this long to get his (possible) voice back..
would be nothign but good shit for Hi-Hop.
(I won't hold my breath tho, Honestly fuck Detox, let's get DOC's voice back instead...)

what do you mean he had to wait?
as pointed out before, it was already possible, but he didn't show up on the first appointment

I "Still" don't think they can do shit about it to be truthfull..
but the chances of it being anything like it was are way better now than they were in the 90's
pleasebelive that!

There had to be a reason, he held out.
(That said, someone drive DOC to the hospital and make sure he get's there...)
