I just watched this tonight, I missed the first 20 min. but it was pretty good I really enjoyed it. For those still interested in seeing it I see that it is coming on again on Wed. (1/27) 3:30-5:00pm (VH1)

It contained some newer interviews/input from Cube, D.O.C., Jerry Heller, Ice-T, Tomica Wright, Lil Eazy & Yella. Dre's interview portion was old I believe like from the early 2000s, didn't see any Ren contribution to the documentary.

One thing I never really knew was that Cube & Eazy met and squashed their beef in late 94 and began speaking on an N.W.A. reunion, because whats weird is that Yella did an interview a few years back stating that the last track Eazy ever recorded was a diss to Cube and that he'd never release it, something isn't adding up, but regardless it was a dope documentary hope ya'll get to catch it next week because I still don't see it online.

Hello everyone. I am new on this forum. I just have a simple question. I have special shows recorded in a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8000. I am moving to another state and I have to return it to the cable company. I noticed, it has a USB port. Is there any way to transfer the recorded programs to my laptop or thumb drive? Thanks.

davehancock

FlightdocSorry, It is not possible. First the 8000 does not have an output suitable for recording (it's HD format is not a standard PC one) and the USB port is not active. In addition, the data on the Hard Drive is encoded with a key that is unique to the DVR that recorded it. So even if you could transfer the data to something else, you would not be able to play it.

However, you can make an analog recording (video tape or DVD) from the analog output. You probably have a specific "Record to VHS" function in the List playback menu.

hmmmm.... so could you record it to DVD then rip the copied DVD?
