I kind of agree with whoever said that the passion from his voice is gone and that these tracks aren't too reflective of Em but more of his attempt at creating cinematic music.

I don't care.  I enjoyed Encore, thought it was solid.  The recent tracks are okay, nothing I'd bump too much.  Never been too big of a fan just respected his  talent.

i listen to a lot of Eminem songs as well, but ever since Encore it seems like Slim has found a new sport: ruining tracks.

yes he can still write & his flow has never really suffered, but his performances like on 3 AM are horrible.
i bet this will not be the last song of Relapse, on which he pulls a performance like that
that makes a Dr.Dre produced album ( minus one song) a lot less interesting.
let's be realistic, Dre won't save the album, as he encourages Eminem's direction.

i understand why an instrumental of 3 am wasn't released, but an instrumental version would be listenable.

After one listen - "the fuck is this bs? this song is horrible"

After three to four listens - "aight, it's not that bad"

After five or six listens - "wow, this song is incredible!"

That's what I like about Em - most of my favorite songs by him were ones that I hated the first time I heard them. This track is really, really good.
