officiating is horrendous.....

Many bad calls both ways.

This..and it was probably the best officiated game of the series. I thought it was pretty even for the most part, and Orlando made too many mistakes to let that be an excuse. Kobe's elbow to Nelson will probably talked about and it was a foul, but Orlando made the mistake of letting it get to that point. Odom also hooked Howard and pushed off to get a rebound on Lewis' miss late in the 4th with a 5-point lead, but they tend to put whistles away, and Howard probably would have missed the FT's anyway.

Also, why the hell did Gortat only play 4 minutes?? I don't understand Stan Van Gundy's logic.

i was wondering about gortats absence as well,especially with L.A.'s frontline foul problems. also i would have stayed with alston if i was van gundy.

Indeed, fuck Nelson..Rafer was having a great game...I just don't get it.

Rafer had two quick turnovers the swung moment to the Lakers favor in the 3rd quarter, and looked to be sinking since. He had a great first half, second half he was missing shots and got off rhythm. So he went with Nelson, who may have sucked shooting, but was protecting the ball and getting people shots. I think originally Nelson was just there to rest Rafer, who played the whole 3rd, but once he found Howard Van Gundy stuck with him.

The Knicks should get Skip to my Lou, 'cause after this season there will be beef between him and Van Gundy. It wouldn't come out now, there's a title to be won, but I think Van Gundy likes Nelson better, and Alston will find a new home. I think the Knick will want to finally rebuild soon, and who better than the local legend to lead the Knicks.

Nate is very popular in NY. Alston should definitely leave the Magic, though. But I can't picture him to be fine with being a back-up, and most starting PGs are at least as good as he is. Greece maybe? lol

People usually only see 1 side of that argument because they are rooting too hard for 1 team. NBA refs are really bad, and the way the game went Orlando should have had more FT's, but not that many more. People will point to that elbow by Kobe, but with the score all tied up and a little over a minute, I still don't think Orlando would have won that game. They buckled under pressure late, and the Lakers made the plays that a champion makes.

LMFAO...holy crap. IF the game was fixed, it was CLEARLY so that Orlando could keep it close throughout the 4th. anyone who claims the refs benefited the Lakers needs to slap themselves to death...NOW. the disparity in free throws was horrendous, and the Lakers took more shots in the paint! I hate bennet salvator more than i hate elmer crawfudd. somebody seriously needs to put a hit out on these ancient refs who've been fucking up games consistently throughout their careers.
