I can respect ur opinion on not caring for the dude's music or style but IMO the guy is definitely tight as fuck. He is what the west needs except for him doing songs with gay ass lil wayne who needs to shoot himself. But to call him a poor man's tupac is the stupidest thing I've heard anyone say about him. How does he sound anything like Tupac. He never claims to be like Pac or act like Pac in any of his songs. My favorite rapper right now has got to be Nipsey though because the boy has flow and keeps making bangin ass tracks.

i get wat he was sayin tho.  J-r is just another "thug" rapper so to say, he doesn't bring anything to the table of hip hop.  he's a cliche' and raps about cliche' shit, that's not his game.  he needs to just make music (however it comes out).  i like the "how to rob" track, 1 of the few who can compliment a classic record (snoop did with lodi dodi).  he's just another rapper for poor kids from Watts to be "inspired" by.  he's no Nipsey or XZibit (before we all seen him on PMR, that show did damage to his PR lol).

tbh i like jay rock a lot. how to rob, as has already been mentioned, was shit hot, and 112 bars is one of the greatest things i have ever heard. all his songs on the TDE & September 7th mixtape were quality, and they covered more topics than just 'watts, bloods etc'. so to say he's cliched is just wrong, imo.
