Im actually looking forward to this, kinda hyped along with the nas/marley release date! i've had enough of dre giving beats to eminem for his wack shit, eminems done wasted more dre beats than anyone else in recent times.

R.E.D im looking forward to way more than relapse 2. Sure eminem spit nice on forever and the lil wayne joint but that dont make up for the shit he put out on 2 albums full of dre beats. Only thing about relapse 2 im looking forward to at the moment is just blaze. lol.

Game being back with aftermath is a good look for both. Game is westcoast, he proved himself without dre atleast to a level where he stayed relavent. Now its back to that aftermath shit, i hope is shit is rugged funk with a lil westcoast flavour still. One thing u already know is that the album SHOULD be sonically clean, lets jus hope its banging. Need some heat coming off aftermath, its been too long!

Nah, even his newer mixtapes are shit. War Angel was one of the worst mixtapes ever. You listen to that and a 50 Cent mixtape from 01 and there is absolutely no growth. With a big difference that he when he was talking about street shit back then it was genuine, authentic, you could feel the hunger... now it's forced.

I also used to think 50 is just lazy and puts more effort into mixtapes.Looking back when Curtis was released, I was thinking like okay, he only worked on it for 4 months (was working on BISD before Curtis) and he just got that Vitamin Water deal, dude is just lazy. But he had 2 years for BISD and that's all he can come up with, like that is his full potential ? That LP was completely outdated, with no relevance to today climate, like he was stuck in 03... but again less hunger, forced. I just think that 50 Cent as an artist doesn't have that quality to reinvent himself every time he releases an album, to have enough creative variety to show several dimensions as an artist... But those type of people are rare, especially in mainstream rap; Jay, Nas, Em, Kanye, T.I.,.... looks like also Game.

Nas & Eminem? Nooo. Nas has always been respected but has never had much mainstream success singles wise. And Eminem releases the same album over and over. His format is actually predictable.

btw why is Detox in here??? Why not you know the official Detox thread. I'm sorry, but just because Game is in the lab wit dre doesn't mean he'll actually make the album. I mean Dr. Dre promised basically all the big names in rap at the time they'd be on the album.

It's not so much anyone cares if he's on Detox but that Dre's hand and the Aftermath team was involved with Game's album which makes for a superior product.

I'm positive no matter what Dre puts out on Detox it will be dope and hot.

LMAO@ppl calling meho a 50cent hater. Either people aint been here long enough or havent read enough Meho posts. Dude used to be a huge 50cent fan and im pretty sure he still is. However unlike groupies, he finally has come to the realisation that dude hasnt put out ANYTHING or any significant in such a long time. Sure a single here or there, but in terms of albums, for a cat with so much money and backing, his shit has been nothing short of garbage in general for the standards he should be setting himself and trying to achieve.

Game just needs to push numbers for his own album and hope he gets a follow up release off aftermath after the R.E.D album within the next decade.

There hasn't been any indication as to what R.E.D will be like, the two leaked "singles" were Old R.E.D and will obviously not make the album since Dre arrived. He has 5-6 weeks left til the release and no single nor date for one to be released. I think it's pretty much safe to say that it will indeed be pushed back once again. Hopefully Game's "unstable" side doesn't become impatient and ruin his chances with Dre. If a single doesn't drop this week, I'm thinking it might get pushed back to May-June just in time for summer. What ya think?
