i would argue with "most popular polish rap group". they are nowhere near as popular as WWO, Hemp Gru etc. I'm not that much into polish rap tho...
ale niech Ci bedzie ;)

Ja kompletnie nie słucham polskiego hip-hopu, wysnuwam taki wniosek na podstawie ilości sprzedanych płyt ;)

Got to say I respect Onyx but never really got into their albums.  "Slam" kind of seemed like a pop hit and they somehow struck me as dudes trying to act hard.   Somethin about it didn't seem authentic.  That's probably the wrong impression but it kept me from ever getting into their albums.

-Liked Freddro Starr in Sunset Park and on Moesha though

-I liked Sticky Fingaz on Snoop and Em's albums

-"True Colors" was a nice cut on Save the Last Dance soundtrack

-"Throw Ya Gunz" was a nice Onyx cut

For once I know where Infinite is coming from, though. That hook on Slam can give you the impression of something rather pop-ish. Was the same for me. Live Niggaz from the Show soundtrack didn't help either. Last Dayz and Evil Streetz on the other hand are two of the grimiest records ever.

Fraxxx how hold are you? . Because back when slam first came out there was no way it the hook or song would be called pop-ish .  Pop radio would not touch it . back in those days it was known as grimy . I should know I was freshmen in high school when it came out . I just can't see anything pop-ish about it . nothing about onyx or hip hop back then was called pop-ish except mc hammer or vanilla Ice .

I disagree. Sure, the hook was catchy and all that but it sounds like straight hip hop to me, far from pop.

I was thirteen when Slam dropped and I know that it ain't a pop song. Pop-ish might be the wrong expression. That hook just always sounded silly. I could never take it seriously despite everybody else thinking it was the shit. To this day I can't enjoy that song.
But you and Remedy are both right 'pop-ish' wasn't very well-worded. That hook simply completely destroyed the intended vibe of the song for me.
