Cube being a jew here..Not wanting to pay for samples so he is using these cliche' keyboard riffs ..He blew it. He needs to put an album out on someone else's dime so we can get a good Cube album. This album will have ZERO  replay value , guaranteed ..westcoast veterans are choking  this year  ( e-40 blew it the worst )....

Both DPG albums were good. Kurupt's Streetlights wasn't bad too.

A few thoughts...

Sounds pretty dope for the most part but I'd have to remove 4 tracks and replace them with whatever bonus tracks are coming down the pipe.

And for real...WTF happened to the E-A-Ski work because I know they did get down for the album.  Not Sure about Quik though.

T-Mix produced Ask About Me off the War album too.  He's got great music...glad to see him back

40's album was mmmmmmmmmmaaaad weak.. way too many Hyphy - Jerk type beats .." Everyday Is A Weekend " was the only keeper on that whole tracklist ..Far from good ..

I really have to defend this record right here. imo, it's the best album this year so far. you can't call it hyphy anymore, hyphy was a different style, different lyrics. there are maybe a few hyphy kinda cuts on it like "Outta Control" or "Power Up" (both oustanding tracks to me) but in general you can call it bass'd mob music. bump this in the car one time and you'll get rattled out yo seat, it has insane production and a great mixing. plus he brings his best lyrics in years. but, as I said, that's just my opinion.

I didn't listen to the sampler, I don't like so much of spoiling. I've listened to "I rep that west" and "drink the kool-aid" which is one of the best tracks released in 2010 imo. true hip-hop music and I really like the guitar and the drums on it. I'm looking forward to the album and I bet it won't disappoint. I really enjoyed RF and LNCL.

There were some dope sounding songs, but from this sampler it sounds like its going to be a disappointment. You can't talk about doing an all-west coast record and then have all these southern-influenced tracks. Whether they're wack or not, it still goes against everything Cube has been saying about this record. And RF only had a couple southern-sounding tracks. This has more, from the sound of it.

i've bought on the first day, and after a few months there was an OG version too, so I had to buy another one...
Now, I'll wait to buy a Cube album for a half year, or more.

I would be curious to see some of the more "southern" sounding tracks, did they occur before or after he decided not to work with Dre on the album. Almost like last minute fillers to make the deadline for the album, since he would not be working with Dre.
