I've also heard people claim that 'It's On' is also an early version of 'Deep Cover'. Any truth to this?

dont know aout that. i guess they're diffrent songs, considerin they were both on the tracklist for the early pressings of the soundtrack.. but the topics are basicaly the same on both songs. "and it's on, and it's on, and it's on - fo' fo desert eagle to yo muddafuccin dome - and it's on"
