Charlie Wilson a.k.a. Uncle Charlie, legendary Gap Band-singer - this guy's got a career stemming back over 30 years. He hooked up with Snoop Dogg and became a member of the DPGC-familytree after resurrecting his career back in the 90's, and got signed to the shortlived imprint on Death Row Records - Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle Records in 1996.
This guy been through almost every era in music-history, and that makes his career and music-C.V. really interesting. He has done everything - soul, funk, New Jack, rock, hiphop, underground/mainstream - collaborated wit everybody and they moma. From Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder to Kam and Tray Deee, you name it.
I urge you to check out this collection, one of my favorites. It's a damn "smorgas-bord" of different music for every possible tastebud..

of course he is a part of the Dpg-familytree. Charlie was signed to snoops label, did maybe 100 songs wit all of the dpg-roster. snoop gave him the new name "Uncle Charlie" - not to menion he put him on in the late 90's, when his career was fadin away after the New Jack-thing.

Battlecat is a producer that came from a completely different umbrella.
