Have you been outside the Netherlands? Most Europeans aren't that good at English.

I think it should be obligated that everone knows English. I'm from the Netherlands too, and fuck we're one of the only countries that have so many languages as a class on school in Europe.

A lot of other european countries have multiple native languages which they have to teach in school.

I always thought Dutch & Scandinavian countries were better in english because we use subtitles instead of using voice over

This. Dutch and Scandinavian people are def more used to English than others. BUT being able to speak fluently and understand English don't equal getting slang or ebonics. Theoretically my girl speaks way better English than I do but she understands shit when I try to show her a great verse.
