Actually Brian I don't watch much porn either, you would be proud of me.  I have a GF and I prefer her touch to masturbation.  And Brain you wanna know who Tom is ?  Tom is someone that has been through the storm and back and instead of blaming everyone else he grew up and accepted responsibility for his life and made positive changes.  Tom is someone that doesn't have it figured out but he knows that but he still puts himself out there trying to figure it out.  And Tom may be a dick at times, unsure of himself at times, unhappy with himself at time, but he knows EXACTLY who he is and who he wants to be and I work my fucking ass off getting there instead of living in the past and blaming everyone else.

And Brian the only reason I tear you down is because your still the same anger filled judgemental person you were when we first started posting here.

And tear Pac down, no I pointed out the consquences of his actions, something Pac groupies are afraid to do.

Of course.  My bad.  You are a great man and I am a total failure as a human being.

...and even though Pac made it to legendary status in an industry that is one of the most cut-throat businesses out there; he wasn't perfect enough.  And clearly you can see that, while the 2pac groupies can't.

You are an inspiration to us all, Tom.   That's why we love you because you are so inspirational for all you've been through and all you've overcome.

Pac wrote this poem for you, Tom, and all the people who only want to point out the negative.  And can't see all the great things Pac accomplished under difficult circumstances.

The Rose that Grew from Concrete

Did you hear about the rose that grew
from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature's law is wrong it
learned to walk with out having feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping it's dreams,
it learned to breathe fresh air.
Long live the rose that grew from concrete
when no one else ever cared.

Where in that post did I say you were a failure as a human being Brian ?  I said you were still the same judgemental hate filled person you were nearly 10 years later.  No where did I say you were a failure as a human being.  Those are your own words Brian, is that your own guilt speaking up ?   But back to the point Brian, no where have I denied Pac reaching legendary status, no where have I denied his material.  I merely pointed out the severe consquences of Pac's actions.  And I'm not getting on Pac for not being perfect because no one is.  And I'll be the first to say neither am I.  I'm very far from perfect but for whatever reason you keep going to one ridiculous extreme to protect your hero.  But one huge difference between my mistakes and Pac's is the fact my mistakes didn't kill a man and destroy a genre of music.  If you don't see what Pac did to rap in the long run, you're in straight denial.  To be honest I find it very disturbing that you and the fellow pac groupies can't even see or begin to think of the consquences of Pac's actions in the last year of his life.  No one in this thread has disputed my points with rebuttals that have anything to do with the original subject at hand

So you're telling us stuff that's already well documented? Cool!

I guess that's simular to your vendetta against Snoop saying he turned pop, or that no exercise and heavy drinking/smoking/bad diet can increase the likelihood of Stroke.

Whats your next revelatory thread gonna be about, why only our hands and feet wrinkle in the bath?

I pointed out his greedy actions caused an innocent man to die causing two children to grow up fatherless

Ignorance across the board caused any life to be lost. 2Pac didn't squeeze that trigger.

You say you used to ride for Pac now you preach that he was a negative figure in society - I guess your focus shifted.

Music fans can celebrate Pacs output without focussing on any personal negative side, just like people worldwide still enjoying Thriller without confusing the troubled side of Michael Jacksons life and his music.

Going hell bent to 'wake people up' on the reals of Pacs life is kinda weird though (you were the dude who was banned before right?), it's kinda obvious but it's cool if you only just realised it.
And if that's how you choose to spend your spare time who am I to judge

Lol @ riding for Pac. We can enjoy a rapper's music while at the same time admit he wasn't a decent human being. That's what separates fans like me from groupies like you.

You groupies will never understand what being a fan is all about. Neither you nor I know these rappers personally. It wouldn't surprise me if half of them were scumbags. That said, if a rapper shows through public actions that they're a huge douche I'm not going to stop listening to their music. But neither am I going to excuse what they've done or act like they're a great person just based on their music. "Riding" for a rapper is on some gay stanboy shit.

It blows my mind how people are getting pissed off at probably the most reasonable arguments on this forum. Guy acts like a jerk in public and does things a jerk would do, guy probably is a jerk. Not that big of a leap to make. If it was lil wayne who was getting into the same B.S. Pac was and running his mouth off in interviews, would you be saying he's a great guy too? LOL you and I both know the answer is no.

Don't get the 'riding' term twisted. I'm just using slang like the black folk do.

Noone here is pissed, but kids like you and Prodigal Son can't seem to entertain the idea of a counter argument on the boards without going down the 'you mad' route.

Maybe you guys don't get to have discussions with real people face to face but you'll find a healthy debate can be good fun without name calling and such :wavey:

Back on topic, does it worry you some people just like Pacs music and it doesn't bother them the ins and outs of who he really was or might have been?

I still listen to Billy Holliday without being fixated with her untimely death and heroin addiction.

So I've seen a lot of pointless personal attacks in this thread. A lot of name calling as well.

Very few people have addressed the question at hand: Did 2pac's actions play a role that lead to some tragic consequences?

Maybe you should just be yourself and not mimic the way black folks say things. That way people wouldn't get confused by what you're saying.

His actions did play a part and nobody has even disputed that in tha slightest but to keep it all tha way real those actions were outweighed more by other people than Pac.

he rapped about uplighting niggaz and then gets set up and shot by his niggaz.

he makes a song (not just any song) called "Keep Ya Head Up" and then gets hit with a false sex abuse charge (i personally dont believe it and i feel that way about alotta celebrities period. charlie sheen has spent millions on hookers, why would he need to sexually assault anybody - for example)

he defends a stranger from police and busts back at them.  to this day no entertainer of any kind has done that for anybody (a random person at that)

he shed light on the police and justice system and gets shot in Vegas but gets pulled over and dragged out on tha ground for 30 minutes for no reason meanwhile he's bleeding out all over the place and pretty much dies right there.  he basically died becuz of racist ass punk ass police.

pretty much everybody he hung out with was from the EastCoast

tha nigga kept it 100 and didnt have any cut cards

every man must take accountability for his own actions, that is true and i believe that religiously (i'm going thru something right now and I'm not blaming anybody but myself).  the media took Pac's words and actions outta context.  when he spit at tha camera it was becuz he was selling records and attacking the people who were publicly damning him at tha same time.  if u dont and didn't understand the man then you dont understand niggaz yourself.  Pac resinated with niggaz be we could relate to his words, emotions, and actions, not becuz Interscope Records wanted to sell another album and tha nigga just happened to be talented and get popular.

and plz, lets not get to actin' like back in the day that the laws weren't handing out cases like pocket change to homeless people.

just becuz people loved Pac doesn't make us groupies, u must have never met a groupie in real life becuz you're using the term wrong.  how can u clown inspiration and art.  yeah, clown me, say whatever, but i dont have 2 lie becuz i (and millions if not billions of other people looked up to Pac and still do and it's still growing by the day).  just like i said, this topic is irrational.  u want us to damn a man who stood for so much just becuz the nigga waz wild lol, it's not gonna happen.  this thread won't go anywhere further than this board.
