Yeah; everybody expects ps2 to be dominating, because they've been out a year longer than the other two (hence, they sell more, because more people have systems than the other two).

The real story is that unfortunately for fans like me, lol, Xbox is SMASHING gamecube.  Nintendo's still making a fortune, and Xbox's profits are lower since the console costs more to manufacture, but i'm sure it's embarassing for Nintendo not to be even #2 anymore.  Xbox got released the same time as Gamecube, and Gamecube smashed on them for about 6 months, but then Xbox beat them down.

Unfortuantely, nintendo doesn't have that many exclusive first party stuff coming out this year, either.  When it comes down to it, more people are gonna by the same game for Xbox over gamecube, because it'll probably have better graphics.  Nintendo needs to spend some money and secure more 3rd party exclusive titles, like the Resident Evil stuff they've got coming out.  They have a few more, but they need a TON so that people have to buy a gamecube to play the best games, instead of picking it up on their xbox.  I wouldn't put nintendo out yet, though, i'm sure they've got stuff planned.  Also, Zelda is gonna push MAD copies, and move tons of consoles.

Oh, and also, if Nintendo was smart, they'd capitalize on one thing they haven't been: Their Sega liscense.  A game featuring Mario, AND sonic would be irresistable.  They've got plans to do a little bit of that, like the new Mariokart is gonna have Sonic as a driver, but they oughta make an adventure game with sonic and mario going through the game together.  That would be awesome.

Trauma, me & you seem to be tha only GameCube fans here. And I must say, although Nintendo's games are still high quality, their 3rd party support is fuckin' weak! No disrespect towards them or anything, but they make too many bad decisions in my opinion. They're like tha west coast of tha video game industry right now. :-\

Hopefully Zelda will push units, but nothing sells good these days, so I doubt it. :-\

Yeah, I agree about the third party.  Really, who's comin' through for them?  Sega's doing alright, but most of their stuff is just re-releases and ports of old games.  Capcom (I believe?) is doing great with Resident Evil, but who else is coming through for them?  Most of the games people do make come out on all three systems, so it ain't helping nintendo that great.  Look @ anybody's list of best gamecube games, and basically, it'll be resident evil, and then all the 1st party games along with that.  The only nintendo games people are digging are the ones nintendo themselves makes.

Yup, and don't forget about Namco. They're gonna be doing big things with tha big N too. Capcom's "Viewtiful Joe" looks really, REALLY good aswell. So people shouldn't count them out yet.

BTW, did you ever beat that Omega Pirate in Prime?

I wouldn't say that X-Box is smashing Gamecube..

Nintendo knows a thing or two more about consoles than MS does, and Nintendo is actually making good money on the Gamecube, and from what the experts say, X-Box would NEVER have survived without Microsoft Windows-sales & MS Office-sales..
Meaning that MS is actually losing BIG money on the X-Box..
That's why Sega had to give in, they were losing money on DC..

playstation is kickin ass - good to see

xbox and gamecube can even compete - microsoft and nintendo must both be pretty embarrassed

its surprising to see halo still in the top 3 for xbox, how long ago did that come out?

Not really, Playstation SHOULD be making more money, they came out a year earlier.  Playstation will be dead and buried while Xbox and Gamecube are still pushing units.

Viewtiful Joe looks AWESOME, really fun, but it's not exclusive... the only one they're releasing so far is nintendo, but they have plans for xbox and ps2 versions.

I never beat the omega pirate, I got sidetracked by a bunch of emulators, LOL.
