See I was one of those people that didn't like Nelly when country grammar dropped back in 2000...thought he was too pop. But that cd did bang when we would party and he did have a few good joints for what they were. By today's standards those songs were not soft at all. And at least he could come up with hooks, make catchy songs, and his in house production team gave him a unique sound.

Drake on the other hand, is basically just an actor playing a rapper / singer. I'm convinced his dad is some boss Jew that gets him these gigs. I don't know hardly any of his songs, but I do like "I'm on One" although I doubt he had anything to do with the songs creation. And that marvins room song is wack. He's just corny as hell, vanilla.

Here in TORONTO we don't really RATE Drake. He is what he is for the teenagers and girls. We support him for what it is. There is a lot of musical talent coming out of CANADA unfortunately it's not too much rap. Besides Kardinal Official and a hand full of others. Our underground rap scene thrives with a lot of good freestylers and battle rappers...
