Nostalgia bruh, but it was definitely not a good movie.

the thing is in the trailers and previews, they blatantly said "The MODERN GODFATHER" or something of that sort, which raised the bar, obviously, and the bar wasnt even close of getting met.

in terms of plot, character development, overall acting. it was a typical modern action flick that got A list actors for a B list movie, where they just get famous actors to cover up for the lack of well, everything.

dont get me wrong it was OK, i wasnt bored out of my mind, it would probably of been enjoyable for me if it wasnt for the silly godfather comparison.

the whole movie was so predictable it was ridiculous as well. i dont remember the last recent black film ive enjoyed recently, shits been watered down since 03. i actually avoid most black films now, especially with all this tyler perry crap and crap like Best man or whatever the fuck. shits real corny

i forgot to say, theres a lot of korean gangster movies, that really shits boyz n tha hood, south central, baby boy, and other shit that has really no central plot (not that i didnt enjoy them, boyz n tha hood i got to say the least for me, but i still watched it a bunch of times and id watch it again)

but they're pretty epic, outside of the US, i dont know any other country that makes so many gangster movies. koreans are addicted to pussy, gangsters, and alcohol.

only bad thing is if your not with a korean dude when watching this you cant really entirely know the situation, how shit goes down there, how culture is involved and subtitles dont do it justice, its off.

but its still damn epic and better than ALL B-list gangster movies. UK got some dope gangster movies too
