Nardwuar's interviews are always dope. They really bring out the real person behind the mic/stage name/marketing gimmicks and reveal who the artists genuinely are. Some people like Trinidad James and Waka Flocka looked surprisingly like cool dudes you'd want to smoke with, while others (like Nas) looked like assholes.

I always love it how Nardwuar manages to shock whoever he's interviewing by bringing up some obscure event or something from the interviewee's past. Like when he interviewed A$ap Rocky, Flatbush Zombies and E-40.

I can't wait until Nardwaur interviews Kanye West. I can picture it now...

The guy does so much research and puts forth a lot of energy in to his interviews, he deserves a spot at the top when music journalists are brought up.

The only downside of some of his interviews is when rappers don't really get him and either mock him or withdraw. They make themselves look like dickheads when they do that. Guys like Too $hort and Bun B however give great responses and obviously love sharing their wealth of knowledge and passion. Those are the acts that make a Nardwuar interview legendary.

Ludacris and Big Sean were hands down the biggest dicks he interviewed, Pusha T had one dick move of dropping the records but keeping the GZA chess board lol

Kid Cudi kinda was too but I think he actually was on a schedule and just caught off guard with some of Nard's questions

his voice is annoying but he's hilarious though. my favorite interviews are the pharell ones. i liked the Bun B interview, bun dropped a lot of knowledge and insight into the H-Town scene, I liked how he praised both 3-2 and Big Mike, who I feel are underrated. His interview with Yelawolf was dope too. I can't remember too but one rapper brought a gift to Nardwuar and asked personal questions, that was dope.

I Have been checking Nard for years now, and the one with N*E*R*D is the best, I think, the one with Jay Z and the one with Nas was anoying.

MGK was the one that brought him the gift and knew that he was in a band.

he gave this to almost every rapper out there, saying how special it is with the rolling paper still intact, It's not that special Nardwaur if you give it away that mush

nardwuar VS Schoolboy Q

Funny to see Schoolboy Q smoking 40 year old rolling paper!

Jay Z was quite boring, but not annoying. and how come nobody mentioned the Riff Raff interview? that one has the most quotes and epic moments. his first Questlove interview is also worth watching. can't forget the ones he did with Snoop
