Yeah it's like eating McDonalds, it gives you that quick and cheap high; and afterward leaves you empty and fiending for another hit

Album went hard but movie fuccin sucked.  I'm Bout It is the movie that went hard.  Too bad they did have music video quality cameras cause that movie is the best thing No Limit ever did.

No doubt.. Can't understand why they couldn't have at least made it music video quality.  Even Snoop has said in interviews that the I'm Bout It movie and soundtrack is what really caught his attention from No Limit.  I think that was their prime.

The movie has great music throughout like the love scene when he rides off into the sunset with Mercedez after making the big hit on the dope man, "Pushin Inside of You" was the best R&B cut No Limit ever did.  Then the grand finale he takes out that same rival dope man getting revenge for his brothers murder and it cuts to the credits and a No Limit concert "I'm Bout It" live version that was the biggest banger they ever did.  Then there's also that come to Jesus type moment when P's brother has a heart to heart with his mom and promises her that he's gonna change his life... and "If I Could Change" plays in the background which was one of the better R&B/Rap tracks.

Then on top of that you got the party scene with the "How You Do Dat Dere" which was also No Limits best party joint.  I was at that age of 15-16 when I'm Bout It dropped and it was 1998 so no internet so house parties were still popping in those days we'd drive around bumpin No Limit trying to find different little house parties to go to and sometimes throw our own drinking cheap beers like Natural Light.

I was depressed in those days after Pac died but looking back at least I was out doing stuff and not on the internet all day and night (like like in 2023).
