Have there been any good hitting pitchers in the NL?

Just curious, I never heard of one.   I knew Grienke hit pretty well, but that's the only guy I can think of

last guy to get any props was this dude named Micah Owings but he flamed out as a pitcher  (in his career he hit .283 with a .500 slugging % and 9 homers in 200+ at bats)


guess he's in the minors or retired by now

yep.  11 home runs as a pitcher is scary in the DEAD BALL ERA.  amazing feat.
