Dre gave 50 his best for Detox???

I REALLY do not believe it is true, but why have I heard several people say that Dre gave up some of his (best) beats from Detox to 50 Cent's album? I think the beats on 50 are all leftovers from the 2001 era...I don't think he gave him anything from Detox.

i surely hope those werent the beats for Detox cause besides In Da Club their wasnt anything special about them, their dope but definitely not his best

Dre claimed that the beats on "Get Rich Or Die Tryin" were his best beats which he had in store for "Detox" (in the February issue of "XXL Magazine")...He said he gave 50 the "cream of the crop"...LoL...Fuckin idiot...

I think Detox is far away.  There is no way it's coming out this year.  I doubt he's even in serious recording sessions for the album.

All 4 songs on 50 Cent's album that Dre produced have great beats IMO.

And I remember hearing somewhere that "Heat" intrumental has been around for a while so I doubt that the beat for "Heat" was made with Detox in mind.

figures...gee dre couldnt give these beats to say a tight west coast artist now could he...if it wasnt for the good production on 50's album...it would go from a good album to a very medicore album

Well if it is true that the beats Dre gave 50 were the best made for Detox so far, they obviously weren't dope enough for Dre to say: "No, 50 can't have that beat, I'm savin' it for Detox."

I doubt those were the "cream of the crop".  They were probably made for Detox, but he decided to give'em to 50 instead.
