He had absolutely no idea. Didn't notice the difference.

But tried to make it seem like the ball boy took it upon himself to deflate the balls...despite Brady saying he likes the football a particular weight.

They probably have the closest player/coach relationship in history. I couldn't see that.

Bill Belechick is an absolute mad man when it comes to attention to detail. The guy is incredibly shrewd and one of the more intelligent minds in sports. The Patriots are the most buttoned down organization in football, everyone falls in line because that's what Belechick wants. The guy make sure he knows every detail about every setting, opponent, etc. There is no way in hell he idn't know that was going on. Meanwhile, the league was willing to suspend Marshawn last week for wearing gold cleats but they're not gonna do shit here to affect the Superbowl.

They're absolutely not gonna fuck with the Super Bowl in the slightest. The NFL cares more about branding itself to outsiders and new markets than the actual game of football. Maybe they'll strip draft picks next season, but they won't do anything to degrade the attraction of their big event.

I hope Brady throws at least 1 pick 6 in this game and the Seahawk that scores it grabs a prop, a ball pump, and runs it over to Brady after the play. "Here, you might need this". It'll be the best 15 yards any player could ever get penalized for.

I could care less about this game now. Its already tainted, and the details behind all the way the Patriots cheated over the years will be coming out in our life time. The 2000s Pats will end up looking worse than the 1919 Whitesox. Let them have a 4th ring for all I care. The second this league gets a new Commish, after the final straw in the dirtbad life of Goodell is drawn, that commish will be the Mountain Landis of Football. HE'll do whatever he can to clean up the rotten image of the NFL.

Spygate will come back with more and more details about how Goodel covered it up, just like he tried to cover this up. Jesus is Alive!

He's the greatest QB of all-time if he wins.

From what I hear from people that have covered the team around there, the relationship off the field actually isn't close at all. Not that they don't work great together as far as football, but the idea that they have this father/son relationship is actually pretty far from the truth. Maybe was like that at one point but not anymore.

No way. History will never put him above Montana because of all the asterisks connected to the Patriots and how it benefited Brady.

I've accepted long ago that Brady will almost certainly be remembered better than Manning and ranked. But thats just the stupidity of people. Jeter will go down ranked higher on the all time great list than Ken Griffey Jr. Big fucking deal. Perception means nothing to me.

he'll never be viewed as better than Joe Montana.  Hell, he's not even Bart Starr level of greatness yet.

He wins, it's all Brady.

You act like this is his last hoorah. Nigga's got like 4 seasons of contention.

4 in 8 years with no accusation of cheating will never be trumped by a guy with so many allegations. Brady could 4peat starting this season and people will still ask, ok how did they cheat to win these last 4.

And if that 2nd frequency rumour ever ended up being true then Brady would be more looked down upon by sportwriters than Pete Rose and Barry Bonds combined.
