the last time he played in a playoff game was the last time he played alongside another superstar...which only proves my point. kobe is not done until he retires. if there is one more year left on his contract, he will play it out. now, whether he has a legit team to play with or not will be the most important factort...what needs to be done is a.)surround Kobe with a legit team for his farewell tour and b.)play him tim duncan style, 24 minutes here, 30 minutes there, etc...this is very doable and is the formula to success with the current situation.

new coach, new system, new players- no surprise, beginnin of the season was a struggle for that team....28-12 second half of the season..beat the spurs, rockets, warriors, mavs, grizzles, pacers, bulls, raptors, hawks, suns, thunder, etc. during that stretch.
