I liked the album, with the exception of some of the tracks mentioned above, and was kind of surprised by how much hate there was for it from some quarters.

Decent album. Gangbang Rookie is the only truly classic cut on there, though.

i never liked gangbang movie, it's a caricature of snoop's former self imo, a trap that a lot of artists fall in once they run out of inspiration. trying to go back to the source but instead doing a bland imitation cause they think that's what the people want.

Felt the same way, if you think about it... he definitely changed after that track/album

we also had the "PuffPuffPassTuesdays" mixtape to promote the album. and that was cool. the "Purp 'nYellow skeetox remix" is extra dope, some Pharrell joints and the YG hit remixed with 50 cent  8)
