I reached out to Styles and he confirmed that this isn't a rating ploy. This single track on the Compton soundtrack not to be confused with the album of same title. Styles said this track is real and will be 'featured' this afternoon on the show.

I am now told this track will not be a feature on the show but it could still be discussed. Dre has decided to hold it back.

With all due respect the billion dollar man didn't decide within the last three hours not to debut the first single from his first album in 16 yrs.

I think they both take direction from Dre, and it would be hard for X and Em to stay at odds when they are both close friends with Dre.  Hope they did get back together and do a track.

Styles said this track would be featured on the show. I jumped to the conclusion that it would be on the soundtrack. I tried to clarify this is the 2nd post. Styles talked to some more people who said Dre was holding it back. Xzibit and Eminem are not close friends but they do music with Dre. When they work it's all business, no funny style.
