Anybody remember those days and remember the switch that took place after Dre's album and MMLP then everyone came around a year too late??

The underground of course supported Eminem because he came up through the underground but I'm talking those early days of rap forums on the net and then regular rap or music fans you would come across.  Nobody received more hatred than Eminem.

Of course... I mean even hate can sell... because he was at least talked about.  And when you are talked about you will get attention and he got attention and he got sales, but there was a ton of hate.

Okka

This was a few years before I started reading music forums, but I do remember that there's always been people who hated Eminem.

TRAX (SFV)

I thought he was a joke at first and wrote him off, but when I heard The Way I Am, I was like yea this dude's for real.  And Real Slim Shady is funny.

I remember reading about Eminem in Vibe Magazine back in the day before his debut and was interested in hearing Dre's new protege.  "My Name Is" came out and I thought wth is this?  He didn't sound like what I was expecting.  It grew on me pretty quickly though.  I wasn't really online much back then and definitely not on music forums, but most people I knew personally weren't hating on him.  He didn't really rub me the wrong way until the Encore album came out.

I couldn't care less who he supports politically but alot of his white fans apparently do and abandoned him as well

plus the fact that he hasn't been consistently good in about 10 years...last project I really liked was the MMLP2 and before that Relapse

I'm one of the white fans who has abandoned him.  I think he said some shit last year like "wear your damn mask" or some shit like that on a record.

I will still always love the old Eminem, I was loyal to him since 1998 just from hearing he was an artist signed to Dre.  I remember going to his concert, easily getting front row and meeting him in Spring 1999 and I had to go by myself because everyone thought he sucked and it was just at some small arena next to KU University.

But I ain't fuccin wit any rapper openly supporting the Medical Tyranny going on right now, lockdowns, masks, socialist distancing, forced vaxxination, and censorship of anyone who doesn't bow their heads and submit to the Covid Cult "Science"
