You do realize that Illmatic is considered Nas greatest album (released in 94') and "If I Ruled The World" with Lauryn Hill was one of his biggest songs (96 summer)

Which is why I didn’t show much love to Nas or the Illmatic album till 99– but “If I Ruled the World” was undeniable in 96’ and Dre was in the source givin a lot of props to Lauryn that summer.  I didn’t fucc wit nobody out East back then except Lost Boyz and they were down with Dogg Pound
