Utterly pointless and mean fuck all. These 'Versus' things are the worst in a long line of shit things to emerge from hip-hop over the past couple of years.

The versus thing is set up in part to boost artist streaming. I'm not a fan of it but it's cool artist can get their flowers and possibly a second run.
No man born of woman tho. Dead homies.

I'm a west coast head, but Dogg Pound is not on EPMD's level.  Terrible match up.

Really? In my opinion "Dogg Food" is better than any one of their group or solo albums. Dn't get it twisted though, EPMD does have a lot of classics. But come on now, Erick or Parrish can't see Kurupt on the mic. Not even in the year 2022. Sermon is one of the greatest producers of all time though.

EPMD's discography is so much deeper than Dogg Pound's.  Dogg Pound really only had 1 good album (granted it was a great album) and Cali is Active was decent.  EPMD had six top five albums and many classics as a group.  They were instrumental in the careers of Redman, Keith Murray, and Das Efx.  Dogg Pound was the beneficiary of Dre and Snoop's success.  I agree that Kurupt in his prime was a better lyricist than Erick and Parrish, but as a group EPMD was better.
