Mase claiming he's in talks to sign with Deathrow is the biggest eye-roll moment in the last decade (at least) for music. He must think it's 25 years ago when a few people might've cared, much less known who he was. The world moved on a long time ago. yeah man.. it's like Slick Rick says in the Show (unfortunately most have not heeded his words) "everybody got their props or they wouldn't be producing but sometimes you can't mix this with this and it don't work".

You can't just say, well Mase was a big artist on Bad Boy.  Snoop was a big artist on Death Row.  Wouldn't it be interesting for them to do a song together??   

Maybe on paper... but Snoop was always at his best working with his homies.  That's why he had that great run from 99-2002 when he got back with his fam in the LB and with Dre and homies out West and did everything in house.

Snoop is better off doing another joint with Half-Dead then with Mase.

Where's he selling Street Life? That's the first I've heard of that. On a semi related note, has anyone else heard the Daz version of Street Life? I guess it's a demo version with him doing Snoop's lyrics. I thought I'd heard most all of the unreleased content out there, but I just heard that in the last few months. Same as the Dre solo version of California Love. Makes me wonder what else is out there.
