Jimmy Iovine: When I heard they were thinking about doing another one,
I got Dre on the phone immediately and pressed him on it.
I told Dre, “You and Snoop – You guys made your
A New Hope
but you never made your
-Rise of Skywalker.
You guys made your Ready to Die, but you never made your
Duets: The Final Chapter, your fans need- no,
they deserve this branded and highly streamable content adventure.”

These beats sound 1000 times beter than the beats on missionary!
Even my Son told me this sounds dope when I was playing this on my phone, so the younger generation still likes this type of hip hop!

Both beats are wack. They sound like those generic knockoff Dre beats and don’t suit Snoop’s style anyway.
That's the type of sound i expected on Missionary

Yeah that shit is wack and indeed sounds like YouTube dr.dre type beats. The fact that Dawaum Parker made those is crazy and clearly shows the difference between the quality of music when he's his own (these ep's) and him under Dre supervision (Relapse, the Big Bang etc). No idea how anyone would prefer these beats to Missionary lol

Now that I Want You beat? That's closer to what Missionary needed. And maybe the beat from Frank Sinatra commercial too.

Your statement is simply ridiculous
1. music is always a matter of taste 2. the beats are really dope
3. what did you want to hear?
I Want You (Underboss Remix) (Marvin Gaye) Lord Finesse Presents - Motown State Of Mind, someone else probably had the idea. What did Dre do now? Bigger Drums...

Sir Jinx summed it up and said: I'm not saying the n, but he never produced a single track himself and he's right!

And what you shouldn't forget, as has been said so often, Dre had his team at the start, but Dawaun simply brought a breath of fresh air into the story

These are all just generic "big time" sounding Dre imitation beats.  You can't do a whole album on beats like this.  Maybe one or two songs.  Does sound like a Dre beat from 2005 or something, but so simplistic, only a fool would mistake these for Dre beats.  And like the other person said, these beats don't fit Snoop's style at all.
