Just sad… Snoop just said it’s not even mixed yet. Dre will start mixing in a few months…

Guess Em is more important

games best album is the documentary so no his best albums weren’t after dre bro

You're crazy bruh. No doubt, The Documentary is a classic that sold more and had bigger hits but I felt like content wise, Doctor's Advocate, and even Doc 2 and 2.5 were better.

What em project?

Eminem has a new album coming out...supposedly this year. Dr. Dre has involvement with the project.

I saw that too, but reading between the lines theres some rivalry or shift with Eminem and Snoop in the background.  2 little bros fighting.

Jimmy asked if Eminem would be in Snoops new album and Dre immediately jumped in and changed the subject… for better or worse.  I highly doubt you will hear an Eminem verse on Snoops new album.

I feel like Snoop really doesn't like Eminem but knows if he voices it, he loses some fans, and access to Dre. That's probably the connection he needs, musically.

The Documentary has to be the best because it was backed by both Aftermath and G-Unit back when Aftermath and G-Unit were still in their prime.

It was like the last days of my youth.  You know you are not part of the "youth" anymore when all you do is complain about the music the kids are listening to these days.  So Game came at the end of the era when rap was still making the kind of music I wanted to listen to and I was still a part of the target audience.

Nas called in when he put out HipHop is Dead at the end of 2006--because after that the game switched to skinny jeans and the Lil Wayne, Young Money, Niki Minaj era took over.  And I became one of those old heads shouting "get off my lawn."

Not surprised Eminem is a recluse who spends most of his days in a studio and probably has a much higher output of music than snoop..

So of course Dre, who is also a studio rat is going to lean more towards Eminem and his release..

But I still think the snoop album will be here soon  8)

What’s the point of a new thread?

Em is an Aftermath artist and Dre is not producing his album top to bottom, so can’t delay it.

You think Snoop would "lose access" to Dre if he dissed Em?

Em dissed Snoop before, and Snoop had a soft ass response

Those were initially friendly fires from both of them.

Not like the Em diss was anything special, they both tested the water if they really want to go there and decided it’s a stupid move.

The way I see it, they don’t need to be best friends or like each other like that, they just need to respect each other and that’s where Snoop was wrong.

He realised that, they talked and he apologised and they move on.

Now they they repost each other on IG, to promote each other now & then.

I personally think Em’s introvert character matches Dre’s more.
Dre likes to be quiet and go about his business but Snoop even though laidback, is always out there and he’s more accessible, opens his door to a lot of people.

That’s why the respect thing works, at their age, they can all be their individual selves and come together when needed.
