Judgement night soundtrack is like a rock/rap mashup…kinda like the Linkin Park/Jay album but with different artists each track

I'm not a rock big fan so it's not for me but concept for merger of rap and rock seems good idea.

Tons of great tracks on this album as we all know, I tend to play it heavily in the summer months when they roll around.

If pushed I would say 21 Jumpstreet is my favourite track from the soundtrack, if I ever ran into Daz I would shake his hand and say thanks for producing that track alone.

yeah I was really impressed with Snoop during this era he was really at the pinaccle of rap and he came hard on Doggystyle and then was able to show he could also back off (and play the role of a pimp) by stepping off the gas on "Big Pimpin" above the Rim and "21 Jumpstreet".  Both were track 4 on their respective albums.

I was a kid and Doggystyle was the first rap cd I ever owned.  It was my favorite album so I assumed that great rap music was supposed to be hard like Doggystyle.  So it bugged me out at first hearing tracks like "Big Pimpin", "21 Jumpstreet" and Warren's whole album G Funk Era blew my mind because it was gangsta but at a whole different speed, tone, and tempo then Doggystyle was.

This wouldn't have been a big deal to a more experienced fan; because artists like Slick Rick and others had performed such styles, but for me being like 11 or 12 I thought that only Snoop and his homies were capable of such feats.

...As for Daz it showed his versatility that he could go straight for your neck on "What Would U Do" then on the very next track come with a laid back classic like "21 Jumpstreet" and both songs could be classic in their own way.
