Yall don't think that certain people in the industry may have held Quik back just so Dre could shine more? Like maybe saw him as a threat/competitor to Dre? Just an idea.

I just want to know what yall think about if Dre and Quik both had the same tools, who's music would be better? Even if you want to throw in the same session players. Same instruments, same beat machines, mixed by the same person etc. I'm not even saying what you would necessarily like better, Just literally from a technical stand point.

LOL

Dre wins, hands down. Sonically, all of his music sounds sounds crisp and polished. Quik hasn't done an album with that kind of 'premium' feel consistently.

Yeah. When him and Dre are friendly (or in the process of getting sued for sample clearance) he credits Dre with doing the majority of that song. When he’s mad at Dre, Quik takes all the credit and says Dre stole from him. Typical bipolar Quik. Flip flops every few years.

IF (big if) there was one that had to be picked from that list, it would be Mike Dean. In reality, none of them are on Dre's level.

i don't know all these names honestly but Johnny could make hits, Mike Mosely is hella underrated, Mike Dean did his thing at RAL, here's an example;

and he did alot with Kanye and E-A-Ski is also underrated.
No man born of woman tho. Dead homies.
