He was also a big reason for the resurgence of Def Jam with signing DMX, I don't think he gets the credit he deserves due to the whole Murder Inc. vs. 50 Cent beef.

I wasn't a huge Murder Inc fan but you have to respect the fact that they were running the game for a period of time
