Let's rap up this season and this thread for myself and HighEyeCue since our teams are out.  I stopped watching once the Chiefs season started--and the Chiefs are exciting again because we got the SuperBowl MVP and biggest name free agent running back Kenneth Walker to take pressure off Mahomes.

So.. Rapping up the Royals Season, we ran into a lot of bad luck this year with our closer Estevez and set up guy Erceg being injured all year and just getting bombed.  And Matt Strahm was our free agent reliever and he also got bombed into oblivion.  It caused us to lose a lot of 1-run games early on and made our record look way worse than we really were--but honestly the season wasn't that horrible.

To see young rookie phenoms Carter Jenson and Jac Cag both go over 20 homeruns was tremendous and really bodes well for 2027.   

Jenson and Jac Caglione give us something to look forward to next year so not all is lost in KC!!!

I'll be back and fired up for 2027 when spring rolls around.  How about your Mets, HighEyeCue?  How you wanna rap up the season?

Im actually looking forward to 2027...hopefully there is no lockout or it doesnt wipe out a significant part of the season

the Mets have looked a lot better since they fired their manager in late June...too bad our season was already over at that point

they've actually been playing around .500 ball under Andy Green...I guess he made an impression because he was rewarded a 3 year contract

I wanted to ask you how you felt when the Dodgers won in that 60 game Covid season? do you consider it a true championship? and what about the Lakers that year?
