Music is an artform, not some kind of technical device. As for, Clark Kent, do you really want his beats?

so what? the saying still works for music. and why would you want the neptunes on a rakim album when everyone knows it won't be pushing big numbers? since you asked about clark kent tho switch him with da beatminerz.

NEPTUNES?!?!? :-X :-X

i'd love to see him work with
Pete Rock
Marley Marl
DJ Premier
Large Professor
Alchemist
Havoc
RZA
DJ Quik

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Thats what I'm talking about. That is real talk, add in prehaps a one track reunion with Eric B, and those are the sort of producers who are definitely gonna bring out the best in Rakim.
