Bret "Hittman" Hart
« on: June 28, 2002, 01:25:42 PM »
Check out this story I found bout Bret....

While Bret Hart is said to be in stable condition at the moment, he did suffer some pretty severe injuries from his motorcycle accident that I reported earlier this week.

Apparently Hart was riding down the road on his motorcycle when he hit a poll and flew over the handle-bars landing hard on his neck and the back of his head. After a battery of tests, it was revealed that Hart suffered a stroke on the right side of his brain.

One of the main reasons Hart retired from wrestling was the chance of suffering brain damage if he took a bad bump, or in situations such as another accidental blow to the head.

He has made great progress since Monday and is off all support machines and is said to be getting better as the days go by.

The poor guy has been through hell for the past couple years. I hope he regains strength in the left side of his body.

Bret Hart could wrestle circles around Shawn

"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

nah... bret was a better techinical wrestler,  that was all.  Shawn was tha better high flyer.  Both could brawl,  watch there match at 97 survivor series.  That was a great brawl an a great match,  but overlooked b/c of what happened.  Funny watchin that an seein bret nol sell everything. HBK was also a great techinical wrestler but not on bret level.  But overall i think HBK takes it easily.  Now Owen an HBK is more comparable.  Later on in there careers i though owen was a much better talen than bret. Owen could have a high flyin match or techinical match an plus Owen was much better on tha mic an an a lot chrasmatic
