Pretty lackluster performance from France, Trezegeut was awful in the centre of attack, which was the main reason for France not scoring, if Henry had played central the whole match im pretty sure France would've won...

Props to Senegal though, dodgy goal, Barthez and Petit acting like fools did it, but Senegal shut up shop nicely for the win...

Jay was on point about Lebouef being past it, he was a joke, i was mad unimpressed with him, how he's first team is beyond me...

Im still confident France will retain the trophy, this will only put them into gear...

I looked forward to this match as the 2002 World Cup opening game... I guess I was a bit disappointed with France's performance, they seemed tired and unmotivated in my eyes, they had the more possession of the ball and goal chances though. Zidane's absence hurt the team.

Verdict: Senegal were very lucky to win this match... their goal was a total fluke.

But rest assured that France will qualify.

Yeah tight result for Senegal, they defended well and France lacked anything going forward apart from the occasional burst from Henry.

And yeah Lebouef is totally past it, they should play Candala at right and Thuram in the middle, or even play Gallas alongside Dessaily in the center.

Knowing England's luck we will end up winning our group and France will finish second in theirs and we will still end up playing them in the next round.

France got a bit cocky aat the start, making simple mistakes. I only saw the 1st half, but Senegal was playing good defence. I dont like france so good on ya Sengal!
