Steroids in MLB
« on: May 29, 2002, 04:23:57 PM »
After Canseco has said that 85% of players in the MLB use steroids, it got me wondering.....

Is that the reason for these big sluggers hittin 60-73 Homeruns a year now?

Who actually does hit 60 homeruns and not take Steroids?

THats why i respect real good hitters more than big sluggers. Like Ichiro, Jeter, Sorriano, Nomar and others.

Your thoughts....

no pitchers do steroids.  But all tha big sluggers do.  Why do u think a few months ago tha union voted no to steroid testing.  Barry bonds said that if u gave him a drug test he would pass.  Than why dont he do it?  Its a shame,  bud selig has no control over baseball an its only a matter of time b4 fans get fed an stop showing up especially if tha players go on strike,  Major League Baseball will be dead

^^ I agree with Tom. I don't think MLB will survive another player strike. They barely are coming out of their last one. If not for Sammy and Big Mac's HR war a couple of years ago, it would be in alot worse shape than it is now.

"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

^^ Not really. I mean, if you got espn classic, look back at players in the 80's or earlier. They are all small as fuck compared to the beasts that play these days.
