Xbox OR Ps2

I got a choice between Xbox and PS2.....which system is better? (i heard rumours that Xbox wont come out with a new systerm but just upgrade it)

I just mainly use the xbox to watch tv and movies that I download now and play games rarely

Consider what games you wanna play before you buy a console..
X-Box has better graphics, but less games..
PS2 has a jungle of games..

There's some X-Box exclusives you won't get on PS2, and vice versa..
The X-Box combo pack with Halo/Midtown Madness 3/Splinter Cell looks like a crazy deal, I would have went for something like that..

i agree with Jome, consider what games you want to play.. x-box has some really tight games, but then again Ps2 has many also. But, X-box may have SOME very good graphic games, PS2 has alot more games, and make up for the x-box.

But overall I would still go with ps2.. plenty of awesome games, and in my view, i think ps2's graphics are pretty much as good as they would be for x-box..

I got a ps2 last xmas, sold it about 4 months later. Got a GC in the summer and I'm selling it now cause I now I'll never touch it since I got a mod for my xbox.

i got them all plus an above average gaming computer....here's what i do

if a game comes out and it's bound to have expansion capabilities i.e. morrowind or star wars KOTOR...i get it on PC

if i want graphic but don't feel like throwing it on my computer i get it for xbox

if i get a game for gameplay i get them for gamecube (plus games like metroid prime and zelda help)

and if there's games that are ps2 only.....i get them on ps2 (socom 2, castlevania)

I dunno how people can sit and play Morrowind and Star wars. RPGs are so boring and Metroid Prime is such a steaming pile of garbage I dunno how anyone can play that, it just feels wrong.
