No luck for me neither, Totti got a 3 match ban, Rommedahl got injured, and moronic coaches placed Morientes & Rui Costa on the bench..

It seems that those who ONLY use players from 1 or 2 teams get much higher scores, if their team is successful..

Having players from 4-8 different nations wasn't the smartest..

I did that, I just chose good players.  Ljunberg from Sweden, Hamman and Ballack from Germany, Gerrard from England, Ronaldo from Portugal, Rooney from England, Gallas and Silvestre from France.  I had about 4/5 teams in there and look at me, flying through the league.

You made some smart choices, but you had max luck with Rooney though..
The point system is stupid, if you score a goal you get more points than you deserve, and if he's captain he get even more points.. the more goalscorers you have the more points you get.. defense doesn't mean anything at all, unless the keeper saves a penalty.

E.g. you got 26 points from Rooney since he scored 2 goals and you made him captain..
I got 1 point each from 2 Portugal defenders after they both played a amazing game vs. England..

If you choose 5 attackers in the team, and almost no defense or midfield.. you have a much better chance of getting points..
